We look forward to meeting you. To make this process as simple as possible, please take the time to read through the following information.

Initial Consult

Please arrive more than 10 minutes before your appointment and make time for traffic, parking and filling out some forms before your appointment.

This will allow us to start on time so that you get to make the most out of your session.

When you arrive please check in with the receptionists at Greenacre Medical Centre as they are also our receptionists.

What to wear

Please dress in loose clothing that will allow us to assess and treat your injured area.

What to bring

Please bring any reports that are related to the issue you are coming in with. This may include: MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, CT scans, blood tests, any specialist or doctor’s reports.

Medicare

If you are coming in with a Medicare plan please bring it in with you along with anything mentioned above.

Work Cover/CTP

Please bring in your certificate of capacity, if you don’t have this please bring documents that contain your claim number, date of injury, referring doctor, and any evidence of pre-approved sessions along with any reports.

How to Pay

We accept payment made through EFTPOS or via cash. If you wish to use your private health fund, please bring your card with you and we can process an on the spot rebate with our HICAPS terminal.

If you are coming in under Workcover, CTP or Medicare, you will need to bring appropriate paperwork on the first visit otherwise you will need to settle payment on the day.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS): 

We currently accept clients under the NDIS only if they are self-managed or plan-managed, our services are not available to NDIA managed clients. Please bring all relevant paperwork with you to your first visit. 

The Late Notice Policy

Please confirm your appointment as soon as you receive our confirmation text, this will normally arrive two days before your appointment. We understand that emergencies occur, if you need to cancel for any reason, please do so more than 24 hours before your appointment.

Please be aware that missing your appointment or cancelling on the day will incur a $20 cancellation fee which is to be paid at the time of your following appointment. We do not want to enforce this, however we have many patients on the wait list who would like to come in earlier, by not attending your confirmed appointment or by giving us less than 24-hrs notice you will be preventing someone else from getting treatment.
