What conditions do you treat?
We treat all musculoskeletal injuries which have been sustained at work or in a motor vehicle accident. This may range from strains, sprains and tears to fractures, post surgical rehabilitation, disc related issues and injuries which have caused neurological deficit.
What methods will you use to treat me?
We utilise a combination of chiropractic and physiotherapy techniques to treat every patient. This may involve but is not limited to manual therapy in the form of massage, active release techniques, stretches, mobilisations, manipulations, dry needling, cupping, electrotherapy theragun and functional exercises.
What is a chiropractic adjustment and is it safe?
A chiropractic adjustment is simply a controlled force applied to the joint which may or may not cause a cracking noise. It is used to help reduce your pain and improve your range of movement. Your therapist will assess you and ensure it is safe for you before offering it as a modality.
Do I have to get adjusted?
No, you will only receive an adjustment if we deem it is safe for you and if you have given us your informed consent. If you do not wish to have an adjustment we have a variety of alternative techniques that we can use instead which are as effective and in some cases more effective than an adjustment.
